I needed a plug for my (2009?) Troy-Bilt Pony because I wanted to mulch the leaves in my yard instead of raking this year, and this definitely works well. It does not come with the parts needed to attach it to the deck, but I picked up the necessary pieces at Home Depot for about $2 total. I ended up just buying a 1/4-20 x 1″ carriage bolt, a 1/4-20 wing nut, and a standard flat washer, and that did the trick. It looks OEM, but as others have said, it’s not a PERFECT fit, but it does work…
