Worked great This part can range in price from what I paid to $20 more depending on the seller. MTD’s website lists this part under a number that is not necessarily the same number recognized at other suppliers. I finally had success when I typed in “recoil starter assembly with rope” that fit the MTD mower I own. The part came with no instructions but you can see how to assemble at the MTD website.
