Works great but brittle hollow plastic rod will break pretty easily over time. Still, probably the best of it’s kind available. I had the former model (the same unit with a different model number) broke after a year, and this one is made the same. The plastic extension is hollow and will crack (esp on a cold day) in normal use. The device works great until it cracks. I put a clamp around the old one and got a bit more use before another part cracked. On this one, I put on the same clamp at one of the stress points and that should help extend the life. I wish they would improve the quality of the brittle plastic…
Pretty good, a few improvements could make this a great tool I used this tool to do all the cedar hedges in my yard, of which I have many and large. Battery life was acceptable, it’s manageable with one battery if you charge while you’re cleaning up / taking a break, but two batteries would allow a single person to work non-stop. I was concerned that the head doesn’t adjust all the way to 90 degrees but in use this is a non-issue. Power was excellent, I was impressed at the diameter of branch I was able to get through.
