Fixed my 1996 Murray 42″ Riding Mower This part (Briggs & Stratton 696541 Electric Starter Drive Kit with “C” Ring Retainer) fit my 1996 Murray 42″ Riding Mower perfectly. The mower has a Briggs & Stratton Twin cylinder, Model 42A707 Type 1273 01 engine which was made with three different types of starters.
