With the three-speed variable control; the 13-inch cutting diameter; and the rotating head for edging, this 40-volt trimmer/edger is loaded with the power you need and the precision control to create a professionally landscaped lawn anytime.

Efficient, Battery Power

The WG168 is powered by a lightweight and efficient 40-volt 2.0 Ah rechargeable LithiumMAX battery, which delivers plenty of power without the added cost of gas, hassle of extension cords, or smelly emissions associated with gas-powered alternatives. Not only are Worx LithiumMAX battery packs extremely lightweight, they provide three times the usable life of standard Ni-CD batteries.

The included quick charger will charge the battery in an hour, which means less downtime between charges. With no memory effect, the battery can charge anytime and have power until ready to use. With the LithiumMAX battery, on low speed setting, you can trim and edge your lawn under normal use and conditions up to 27 minutes per full charge. The higher the speed setting and the tougher the conditions, the trimmer will use more runtime. The lower the speed setting and easier grass conditions, the more runtime can be expected.

Gas-like Design with Maximum Comfort

The WG168 40-volt cordless trimmer/edger has the look and feel of a gas trimmer but is much lighter and easier to maneuver. At less than 8 pounds, the WG168 is easier to lug around without the hassle of carrying the gas can, tangled cords, or smelly emissions. With the pivoting head and pull-out edger guide, now the trimmer becomes an inverted edger just like other gas trimmers. The edger guide can also be extended to protect ornamental vegetation when trimming.

The WG168 comes with a trimmer line spool installed. Made of a patented co-polymer blend that’s flexible and pliable when striking surfaces, this allows for more durability and longer trimmer-line life. The 0.08 line diameter and 20-feet of line gives you plenty to work with compared to other smaller lines on other cordless trimmers. The single, automatic line feed also means no bumping to extend the line. To change the spool (WA0014), simply remove the tool-free cap and insert the single line into the feeder hole. The process requires virtually no downtime.
