Good compromise of power and functionality I bought this trimmer after my toro trimmer broke. It was a good thing that the old trimmer broke because I didn’t know how much I was missing. After reading all the reviews online, I ended up with the Earthwise trimmer. I agree with a lot of the reviewers. I like the power it has to cut through thick grass. Earthwise 15 Inch String Trimmer Outstanding twin cord trimmer with lots of power, makes mulch of tall grass and weeds. It was purchased to replace a 18V battery operated trimmer that would not last very long on a charge, even with two batteries and a hi-power charger most of the time it petered out before finishing around our house which sits on a small 60 x 80 lot. The disadvantage of using an extention cord is quickly offset by the power and ease of use of this trimmer. I highlt recommend it, good quality at a low price.
