Great trimmer This is a nice trimmer I live on 10 acres and mow about 6. This trimmer with the 6ah battery I can do all my trimming and blowing everything off with just one battery. I compare the power of this trimmer to my echo srm 225. The dewalt trimmer powered through everything I threw at it and more. One thing I did do was replace the dewalt head with the echo 400 speed feed head I like the fact you can still use your favorite trimmer heads with this unit but I still used the dewalt line. 1st Time Battery Guy Have been happy overall. Has great power as a trimmer. Every bit as much as the gas trimmer I was using. Battery life hasn’t been what the reviews seemed to indicate. I take care of two yards and get one yard per charge. Perhaps after the heavy edging that is involved in the spring this will improve. What I am getting out of the 4 amp hour battery is about 1/2 hour of use. I also changed to the .095 line. The .08 line that came with the unit didn’t hold up well. The manual said that…
If she likes it, nothing else matters… We got the unit and charged the battery with in one hour. My wife was worried about balance and overall length. After she used it for trimming, she loved it. So far I’ve only trimmed with it about thirty seconds, it’s now her trimmer. She hasn’t said it but when she used it, cleaned it and left it on the kitchen table.
