Clasp not perfect, but it can work Like other reviewers, I had trouble getting the clasp on the collar to catch. The collar tab does not deflect out well enough to grab the connector on the blower. However, I found that if I rotate up on the collar while pushing in, I can make the bag hold well enough for my purposes. Given that this generic replacement is about half the cost of the equivalent genuine Toro bag, coupled with the frequency of failure of the Toro product (I’ve blown through three of them for the same 51619…
Try this product before buying another one from the OEM. As many reviewers had pointed out, the clasp did not hold the bag on. Although it appeared identical to the clasp on my older bag (which came with my Toro but ripped at the zipper after only a few uses), it would not “snap”. So, I just placed a layer of 4 pieces of duct tape where it slides in, and voila – it forced the clasp to snap in securely.
