Bad out of box I bought a Snapper SP70 without checking reviews because Snapper has had a good reputation for many years. Luckily, I bought it locally instead of from Amazon. After spending two hours reading instructions, prepping and assembling the mower, it started instantly but the vibration was so bad that the mower actually was bucking. We shut if off instantly and checked for loose or bent blades and other problems. No problems were visible so it was internal. After that, it would not start…

Great mower This is a great mower for the price. I mowed the front and back yard a few days ago and am very satisfied with the machine. Also like the water hose port to clean out underneath after cuttiing the grass.

The problem with this p.o.s. is the briggs & Stratton engine; they just are not a reliable company any more. Had to take it for service after 2 uses, and all B&S service centers are at least 1 month backed up because of PROBLEMS WITH BRIGGS AND STRATTON ENGINES.ADD: just got word after waiting 6 weeks for my brand new mower to be fixed, that the engine is ruined and B&S would not cover it under warranty because they said “the user must have run it without putting in oil!” B.S.
