Finally up to the task! I didn’t get this via Amazon but through Home Depot, but I do all my reviews on Amazon.When these units were introduced to the market, I was intrigued, so started doing massive research on them. I’ve used it 5 or 6 times now in my yard and it works great! It takes me about 45 minutes to cut … I bought this from home depot with the 7.5 amp battery. I’ve used it 5 or 6 times now in my yard and it works great! It takes me about 45 minutes to cut my entire yard and the back of my lot has a very steep grade down to a pond. I would estimate I use the self propelled feature about 75% of the time while mowing and I have yet to have the battery level go below 25%. The charger works as advertised and charges the battery in less than an hour. I really love being able to fold this up and store…
I am not happy with the cut I bought this mower last year and used it about 15 times. I am not happy with the cut. I have to go over the lawn in lanes and then criss cross the lawn. The result is still uneven and does not compare with my gas mower. I appreciate the quiet of Elec. Motor am just not sold on cutting quality given the cost of the EGO. I tried a FWD gas mower this year and the cut was awesome. However, the FWD was more difficult to use than an AWD. I returned the FWD gas mower and will try the EGO again…
