The item I was shipped was not the 4040, but the 4030. I gave it one star for value for money, as I paid for one thing and got something else. I gave it 5 stars for presentation, because it looks like something much better than what it is.Is it a battery? Yes. Does it hold a charge? Yes. Is it the battery I ordered based on the item description? NO. I received a 3.0Ah battery which is slightly different in appearance as well as specification. It does not provide the same amount of power as the 4040 (108Wh vs 144Wh), so it will not last…
Fast efficient service, excellent product. I waited to write this review until I’d really put this battery to the test! This battery was exactly what I ordered and showed up very quickly. I followed the instructions and charged it fully before using. It has more power, and lasts much longer than the best battery I had before this. I’ve mostly been using it in my chainsaw cutting hedge (osage orange) the hardest wood in this part of the country. Makes my saw work better than ever. Look forward to using it in my Ryobi mower and weedeater…
Good battery This battery lasts so much longer than the 2.6 ah that from now on when I need a new battery, I will be buying the 4.0 ah even though it does cost a little more. It arrived in good time, I charged it up (which takes a little longer than the 2.6 ah as to be expected), and used it the next day.
