Warrenty Void by Manufacturer if Not purchaced from Lowes I purchased this product less than 2 months ago and used it only twice. Battery will not charge and charger identifies it as defective. I called the phone number on the battery for Kobalt. At that phone number Kobalt identifies itself as exclusively a product of Lowes and since I did not purchase the battery from Lowes the warranty is void. Great battery if you like working all day. I bought this as a backup battery for my Kobalt 80v string trimmer. I instantly regretted the whole idea of having two batteries. Now when my battery runs out I have no excuse to take a break while the other battery charges. Additionally, since I was upgraded to the 2.5ah version by the seller, now I will be weedeating even longer before it runs out.
