Hard to Beat This thing is fantastic, built like a brick… house. The pole / handle is beefier than any gas powered pole saw I’ve ever seen. It will saw through limbs far bigger than you’d expect at first glance, 6-8″ is no problem with proper technique. I’m giving this 4* due to the fact it has the potential to be more, and a couple of issues, but don’t kid yourself, good luck finding a more capable gas powered saw. This saw is top notch.The Good:1. One design flaw but overall Excellent Let me start by saying I research the hell out of every purchase, including this one. Most pole saws I looked at I would consider homeowner grade junk. I’m not a professional arborist by trade but I am/was a tradesman for decades so I know a good tool from a crap tool. My property has roughly 40 trees that need trimming about twice a year and most of those branches are around 2″ or less in diameter.
