Snapper Excellence I have owned Snappers all my life and this one meets expectations. My 1990 Commercial is still running but really wanted a new one. The only critical thing I will post about is that the height adjusters are now welded on and not bolted. They break teeth sometimes so if it does there is no easy fix. Honda motor is strong and quiet. I am sure this mower will out live me since I do not mow commercially any longer.UPDATE: After reading the one star negative post I feel I have to comment…

Paying for the name, not quality. Very disappointed with my new Snapper Hi-Vac. I’ve owned a couple snappers prior to this one and they were very good to me. Decided to upgrade to the newer hi vac model from a pac-n-sac. The honda engine is the only good thing about this mower. You cannot physically remove the bag without switching it between hands to maneuver it around the handles. It cuts well though I don’t notice any difference in suction power from my neighbors Husqvarna from lowes for $300 (and the bagger is much easier…

Don’t let the knob ruin your snapper experience! Enjoy the mow! I use this mower commercially and around the house. I already have about 70 hours on it and it starts and runs very good. The drive is a little jumpy off the start but is easy to get used to. I’ve used Toro for years and decided to change it up a bit with this snapper. So glad I did.
