The new Speed-Feed 400 trimmer head replaces the popular Speed-Feed 375 model with numerous upgrades and improvements. While it retains the fast & easy loading technique (loads in 30 seconds or less with no diassembly!), it also boasts a 65% larger capacity, holding up to 20′ of .095″ trimmer line. Additional upgrades include a 78% thicker bottom cover & round eyelets for increased durability. This head fits most premium trimmer brands including Echo, Honda, Husqvarna, Maruyama, RedMax, Shindaiwa, Stihl (does not fit Stihl curved shaft trimmers). Fits both straight and curved shaft models with included adapters.

Head of it’s class This is a genuine Shindaiwa speed head. It replaces the older 375 model and has more line capacity than it’s predecessor. I comfortably fit 16+ feet of .105 into new 400 model- but more on that later.I used this to save a pre-historic (by small engine standards) Shindaiwa T250 whose original head went to head heaven after 18+ years of use. You gotta love the longevity of the older Shindaiwa motors. Mine still runs like a top after 1 or 2 pulls on the starter cord. I can only hope…
