So Fast, So Easy – It’s Good To Fix It Yourself! When the cord broke on my Yard-Man’s 160cc Honda motor recoil starter I was sure I was looking at an hour or more of frustration in re-threading and tying the cord, hoping I wouldn’t slip and have my work come springing and spooling apart. I could have paid someone else to do it, but that very much runs against my, ahem, “frugal” nature. But then a light bulb of inspiration – check for a replacement on Amazon! I needed a replacement for my Campbell Hausfeld pressure washer with a GC160 Honda engine. The pull cord broke and I tried to replace it, but the inside coil would return back to normal tension. I had the old one off and the new one on in less than 5 minutes. Great fit for an OEM replacement. not a big deal, but does not have a Honda sticker/decal…so if that is an issue for you, try to peel and save your old one to put on this. Which is what I did since my engine did not have “Honda”…
