The Duromax XP4400EH has a dual fuel system that operates on either standard gasoline or cleaner burning liquid propane which can more than double you generator’s run time. With the XP4400EH, operating on propane will not gum up or foul your generator’s carburetor and will give you quick, reliable starts every time. It only takes a few seconds to switch over from regular gas to propane and with the flexible line, you can easily hook up any size propane tank including the one from your barbeque. When the ambient temperature is under 40 degrees propane by nature contracts and the pressure within the cylinder is not powerful enough to push enough gas into the carburetor to START the engine. The solution to this is to start the engine on gasoline for a few minutes and then switch over to propane.

DuroMax XP4400EH Review – The good, the bad and the ugly. Here is my review of the DuroMax XP4400EH. Summary: According to reviews, the generator itself is hit or miss on quality. In my case it was a miss – twice. The customer service from Duromax is not very good, and you can expect to have to chase them down for follow-ups. The technical support is excellent, and they seem very responsive and helpful. Now, for the full details – the good, the bad and the ugly:I bought this generator to power a 30’X40′ barn with a 12’X30’…

Acceptable after Seller and Buyer Fixes I just received this generator a few days ago. The packing was fine and there was no obvious damage. Once I began to assemble the unit, I noticed a couple of annoying problems:1. One of the battery terminal screws was missing. I replaced this with one of my own.2. The bolts/nuts provided for attaching the handles are totally inadequate. no amount of fudging or tweaking allowed the handles to be attached with the provided hardware. I replaced with my own.3. The…

Delighted with the XP4400EH I don’t understand some neg reviews, as my XP4400EH had NONE of these issues. I guess no Company has perfect Quality Control, maybe I just got lucky, I don’t know. My unit arrived well packaged and with the exact manual included. No damage, no missing parts, TWO sets of keys (4 total) and had no trouble starting and running. Wheels came with 4 large washers, that when slipped on the machined axles, (first, the washer, then the wheel, then the other washer, then the cotter pin) are more than…
