Cheaper and just as good! I bought my cub cadet LT 1045 used. The starter on it was brand new – previous owner had just replaced it with a new starter purchased through Cub Cadet. The bendix started going wonky within a month or two, and a few weeks ago it stopped working completely. I looked at parts through Cub and they wanted over a hundred dollars for a starter.
