Replaced my earlier flywheel that did not have gears for a starter motor Nice flywheel. I am a homeowner and was able to replace an older flywheel that lacked the gears with this one so as to retrofit a motor with an electric starter. Took an hour or two but was well worth it. Learned one trick: use a folded microfiche card to get the proper separation between the flywheel and the magneto which drives the spark plug. If you try to do it by hand, the magnet keeps pulling to one side or the other while you tighten the screws. Hopefully you do not need to adjust…
