Wiring is not what you expect. See my comments. The 17.5hp engine on my craftsman 15 year old riding mower was extremely worn. Used a pint of oil every use. Spark plug needed regular changing. Decided to replace it before engine would not run.Delivery was prompt. Upon unpacking, the plastic piece that goes around the top of engine was cracked. Looks like Briggs packed it wrong. Decided to proceed anyway. Removal of pulley off of old engine was most difficult. Had to put a clamp on pulley and jam against mower frame. Once pulley bold…
