Good teaching motor. I bought this engine for the purpose of teaching my kids how 4 stroke engines work. It’s a good little motor. Typical of modern engines it has a plastic cam shaft and a plastic internal governor. The throttle is a governor control mechanism and basically has two speeds. Idle and about 2700 rpm. It has a fuel shutoff valve, a removable debris catcher, and a float drain. Both are nice as it allows easy removal of the fuel from the carb and tank. I can…

I took a look at a few of posted reviews and I’m glad I did Buy American. I needed to replace the engine on my chipper and wanted to do so without dumping a bunch of money. I checked out all the typical sources and found the Chinese dominate that market. Cheep and in stock and I almost bought one.
