Good replacement Mulch Plug. This plug was not the exact shape as the original (the corners a rounded a little more) but close enough that it works just as well as the original. This plug does not come with a bolt so you need to ensure that you retain the bolt from the original. Also note that the bolt hole in the new plug is not threaded. The bolt from the old plug should create it’s own threads when you start screwing it in the hole but this does make it a little harder to start. Not having threads in the bolt hole…
Instructions? The only thing I needed that this did not have was instructions. I was not sure how to attach this to my current lawnmower. A friend happened to stop by and once we found out the flat silver piece is the same as what was on my mower it only took a few minutes to change out. I’m a single mom and never owned a mower before so repairing the mulch cover was a new experience. After bolting down the new flat silver piece to the mower deck and tightening it very well the mower is back to factory…
