Impressive! Good bye pull-start! Good bye maintenance. Good bye gasoline, oils and solvents. I thought I’d give battery tools another opportunity and I’m glad I did. Operates at least as well as its gas cousins. About 1/3 of the weight ( – batt), no more storing solvents, mixing oils, no maintenance, no storing for winter, no filters or plugs. This is replacing my Craftsman 35cc 4 stroke backpack which I just now sold due to the performance of this blower. Battery is cluncky, about the size of 3/4 of a red brick and about the same weight. The reason I was a little disappointed was because I bought the weed whacker first 3.5 stars. Just got and used it. This is where I am – my first leaf blower was a home lite and lasted 10 years. My first weed whacker was a sears craftsman and also lasted 10 years. The last were huskavarna weed whacker, the home depot brand chain saw, and the Ryobi back pack leaf blower. I’m just done with this 2 cycle gas thing. The ethanol in gas is corroding the carburetors – every spring is becoming a fight with new spark plugs, fuel filters, and air filters. Powerful little beast **Update** i have now recently used this for a landscaping project and far exeeded my expectations, the house was 1/2 1/3 of an acre and the battery lasted through the whole job with more than enough power.
