Serious chainsaw. A real tool and part of the great overall GreenWorks system I will admit that I was very skeptical about a battery powered / cordless chainsaw. Kind of the same nagging fear of lack luster performance when I made the cut over to cordless drills 20+ years ago. Works Great Right Out Of The Box – Perfect for Spring Cleanup and Trimming I purchased this chainsaw during a deal of the day promotion along with their lawn mower and 80V 4AH battery. I just used the chainsaw for some cleanup in my back yard and it worked very well. I was able to cut through small trees and branches that were on the ground without any issues. The chain was sharp out of the box and had plenty of power to easily cut through branches up to 10 inches in diameter. Disappointing Although another nice looking and innovative product from Greenworks, I’m disappointed with a couple of things. Firstly, the battery life (with the 2ah 80v battery): the battery drains very quickly and the saw will stop mid cut, even though after a break there’s still a little juice in the battery – it seems I get only about only 15 mins of use. This product may be better with the 4ah battery – I guess I’ll have to get one and try.Secondly, I am struggling withhe chain adjustment…
