I’ve been looking at these for a while so when the Gold Box deal came around for almost 1/2 price I pulled the trigger. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and the short answer is that all these new units are definitely ready to replace your old gas powered trimmers for all but the heaviest workloads. Small jobs with my gas driven line trimmer always took a long time … most of it spent mixing gas and oil and then trying to get it to start.
