Solid performer, well built, and very sufficient power for a hedge trimmer This is my 5th GreenWorks 40V tool. Like the others I have, this hedge trimmer exceeds my performance expectation.Setup consisted of unboxing the trimmer and sliding in the 40v battery. There is a dead-man’s switch to pull back with your thumb, then squeezing the trigger starts the blade moving. Excellent – highly recommended for serious yard work This trimmer is great, a real workhorse. Lightweight and very easy to handle, yet cuts through brush up to 1/2″ diameter easily. I’ve used it multiple times almost non-stop for 2 hrs with the 4 Ah battery, and it still had a charge left every time. i’ve included before and after photos of extensive clearing of stubborn thorny weeds/brush â it made quick work of it.At the end of the first use it was making some straining/whining noises, so I sprayed it with silicone-formula WD-40 up…
Awesome! Another awesome Greenworks tool exceeds my expectations! Already had 40 volt mower and blower which I absolutely love but was apprehensive about the hedge trimmer since what I really needed help with is a 7 ft tall, 30 foot long row of 5 Vine bushes on a 6 ft chainlink fence, including Jasmine, flamevine, & honeysuckle that have been entwined and growing together for over 10 years.
