glad I got it Very glad I got this. It catches most of the cut grass. The only thing I’d change is this belt that attaches it to the cutter handle. It would be much faster to take it off to empty and reattach if it were made with a clip rather than this d-ring closure. I gets really annoying after 4-5th emptying and reattaching, and I have to empty it a lot more than that. But it holds it in place very well. Need to make some different attachment myself. Only catches half of the grass This seemed like such a good idea at the time – all that time spent raking up the cut grass from my last mower could be used on other things. The fact is the Gardena mower I bought this for throws the grass off to the side after it’s cut, half of it missing the catcher altogether. I guess half is better than none but the problem of unwanted cut grass on the lawn still exists. I suppose some study of how this grass catcher actually works when paired with the lawnmower would have revealed this…
Good addition to the mower Catcher: It’s light weight, easy to attach and takes up very little storage space. I haven’t owned it very long so can’t comment on the durability of the fabric which is light-medium weight in my opinion. Our lawn is not even and the clips that attach it to the base of the mower pop off a little bit too easily while mowing….however that makes it a breeze when emptying the bag. It seems to happen less if I mow slowly. We have to empty it at least 4 times to fill up a large brown lawn…
