I do like the gradual pressure reduction as it gets close to … I have used this every day on the farm for two years now except in the winter – still working perfectly. I keep it connected to a water hydrant and know exactly where to set it to fill a watering tub for the horses while I attend to other farm tasks. Very well built. It also works to control a sprinkler for the alpacas on a hot day. I have used these types of timers for 30+ years (you turn the water on – they cut it off after a certain time/gallonage) – perfect for so many situations – turning the water on when you’re going to work, turning the water on before dark (and you don’t want to get out in the yard after that), and just plain half the work – it keeps up with the time and you don’t have to.Now, why is this a better “wheel” than the others? Used this for years but caution… I have used these Gardena water timers for like the last 25 years. First bought them from another company but glad to see they are now offered on Amazon.But there is one thing you need to know. Do not leave this attached to your faucet/hose during cold winter months.
