Cutting blade broke; Warranty claim submitted, and good service received. Theses loppers worked well on my first use, cutting back some lilac bushes. When I moved on to cutting up some oak tree trimmings, on a cold November day, the cutting blade broke. I have submitted a claim against the lifetime warranty, even though it’s still within my return period at Amazon. I will cut Fiskars some slack if they will send me a replacement cutting blade and perhaps a spare. It seems simple enough to replace the blade. I will update the review in the future…

Terrible Design! I purchased this anvil lopper after Fiskars discontinued their 27″ Power Gear Anvil Lopper, Model 9631. I had owned several Model 9631 loppers, finding them to be superb loppers. I prefer anvil loppers to bypass loppers and have owned various better quality anvil loppers over the years.
