Nearly worthless I like Fiskars tools, thought it would be great to have the “Full instruction booklet [that] shows how to sharpen all Fiskars tool blades.” In my house I’ve got an assortment of various shears, trimmers, etc. which variously have serrated blades, scalloped blades, curved blades, blades etc. Many of the blades are hard to get at since in scissors, shears etc., two blades are connected together- how do you sharpen down at the cutting area where the blades are connected, but it’s hard to get a…
haven’t had to use yet I have only used the file twice…once to sharpen a pair of fiskars grass clippers and once to file down a nick on my fiskars lawn mower blade. It worked great in both cases with only a minimum of effort. So far I’m happy with the file but I only gave it a four since I intend to return after using it more to comment on how long it sharpens effectively.
…but I’m sure it will come in handy when the time comes. the Fiskars mower has stayed amazingly sharp with all the use it has gotten.
