Not Worth $10 Bucks Let Alone $40 This is my review of the Fiskars grass catcher so it may not apply to everyone out there in AmazonLand. First off it adds considerable length to the front of the mower, not the back or side, but the front so take this in mind (overall size is 19″long x 20″ wide and sticks out from the little front wheels 10″). Now this doesn’t seem alot, but if your yard is full of obstacles then it makes maneuvering and cutting a friggin nightmare. Second anytime you bump, hit, tap an object the dang thing…

The slightest bump will dislodge the catcher, sometimes sending the catcher into the blades of the mower. I tried it and didn’t quite make it through one mowing of my lawn before I had discarded it.

Doesn’t stay on. A fix: thick rubber bands I also found that this grass catcher does not stay on the mower. My lawn is small (< 1/6 acre) and relatively flat, but when the mower hit anything -- side walk, mole tunnels, small rocks -- the catcher would fall off one or two of the two upper hooks.
