The Easiest Way To Edge A Lawn!!! Admittedly I was skeptical about this product or any shovel that promised to be SO easy doing manual work. After all, why not just purchase an electric edger that could do the same thing in less time? Here’s the amazing part: this edger does the job with LESS EFFORT, due to being ergonomically correct, jumping on it and demanding more from the blade itself, which makes the actual manual labor SO much easier!! Another Awesome Fiskars Tool I’m a huge Fiskars tools fan – whether they’re for sewing, paper crafts or for use in the garden. They just make really good stuff. This garden spade is no different. It’s lightweight, has a large, comfortable handle and a good-size blade. I was considering getting one of the rounded bottom edgers, but then I saw some people using this type of spade on some YouTube videos and opted to go for this style because it’s more versatile. So glad I did. Our garden beds have never looked so good…

Misaligned handle I ordered two of these and both had handles that were misaligned with the blade. Since the steel shaft is actually D-shaped and the plastic handle recess is shaped to match, the handle cannot be rotated on the shaft. This means one of two things… Either the fixture that is used to weld the shaft to the blade was misaligned or more likely, the process didn’t allow for the heat warping that always occurs during the weld procedure.
