(1)It cuts through very thick material like a book board, but it will take an average of 20-30 passes before you can get the board to be cut. But it does the job of cuttingl. (2)The edges to line up for cutting is not as perpendicular/accurate as you would like it to be. It sets your edges off by a few degrees. You will end up with a cut that is not really 90 degree.
