Pump would not stop What a mess. I was pumping kerosene from a large container to a smaller one. When the smaller one was almost full I pressed the on/off button to off but the flow of kerosene did not stop. About 1/2 to 1 qt of kerosene was all over the garage floor by the time I pulled the pump high enough in the big container to be above the kerosene level and stop the flow. Ok … I thought maybe I didn’t really press the on/off to the off position so I tried again, carefully! Same results the flow continued…
I’m done with Sierra pumps! I purchased 2 pumps back in June of this year (2018) and they both quit working. The second pump just went out today. I gave both of them to the city. I purchased 2 of this same pump last year from a different seller and they too quit working just a few months after purchase. Changed batteries but didn’t work. Never will I purchase another Sierra pump again!! There has to be at the very least 1 decent battery operated pump somewhere for a decent price!Sellers evidently don’t care as long…
