Avoid – manufacturer is unreachable for support Worked well for about 6 months, then started to intermittently fail, then completely inoperative. Product is supposed to have a one year warranty, but Amazon refers you to the manufacturer and they will not respond. It turns out the Warranty link associated with the item is incorrect. Pump would not stop What a mess. I was pumping kerosene from a large container to a smaller one. When the smaller one was almost full I pressed the on/off button to off but the flow of kerosene did not stop. About 1/2 to 1 qt of kerosene was all over the garage floor by the time I pulled the pump high enough in the big container to be above the kerosene level and stop the flow. Ok … I thought maybe I didn’t really press the on/off to the off position so I tried again, carefully! Same results the flow continued…

I’m done with Sierra pumps! I purchased 2 pumps back in June of this year (2018) and they both quit working. The second pump just went out today. I gave both of them to the city. I purchased 2 of this same pump last year from a different seller and they too quit working just a few months after purchase. Changed batteries but didn’t work. Never will I purchase another Sierra pump again!! There has to be at the very least 1 decent battery operated pump somewhere for a decent price!Sellers evidently don’t care as long…
