Assembly took only about 20 minutes. The leaf catching mechanism is light duty. That is, you have to take the bag assembly off the unit each time you dump leaves. The way the bag assembly rests on the push bar does not inspire confidence that the mechanism will hold up over time.The brush mechanism seemed to pick up leaves at a good (but not perfect) rate.
