I did a basic deck rebuild, which included replacement of this pulley. While the deck is off it’s easiest to replace both pulleys, I also replaced 1 mandrel, the other was pretty new, I bought 2 just in case and I now have a spare ready to go. While the deck is off make sure your tensioner arm does have a big divet in it form where the rollers ride, this can make your blades stay engaged when the blade release lever is disengaged, good videos on you tube, involve grinding out the divets,…
