This 110V AC brass electric solenoid valve easily replaces broken valves for use with water, air, and other low viscosity fluids. Durable brass construction and a quality copper solenoid are made to last. This valve is N/C (normally closed), meaning it is closed when power isn’t supplied. The unit operates on 110V AC power and can withstand temperatures of 23F to 176F. This unit fits a 1/4″ NPT thread.

Don’t bother This valve may or may not work out of the box – it might work for some time, but as others have found out, eventually something goes wrong. More commonly than not, it seems like this valve and other similar solenoid valves get stuck in an open position or don’t close entirely.DO NOT USE if you depend on the valve fully closing when power is turned off or if the valve is going to be open (powered) for extended times.I would recommend seeking out higher quality valves for…

Not suitable for domestic natural gas. The valve seems well made and the on/off celenoid works well. After its been installed, unfortunately when in closed position it leaks small amount of gas. The ultimate purpose of a valve is to turn gas flow on/Off. If it fails to do it perfectly, it’s useless.Update:HFS has been very helpful working with me to determine why the valve is not completely closing.
