Paradise Spa Vacuum The concept of this vacuum is great, but it is very time consuming to use.The suction only lasts for as long as it takes for water to enter the chamber. Therefore, suction only lasts about 5 seconds. Then you have to remove the vacuum from the spa & let the water drain. If the flap on the inside of the chamber is stuck open, then out comes all the leaves you just sucked up. Paradise Spa Vac My old pump style spa vac finally gave out after 10 years and thought I would give the Paradise spa vac a try. It sounded great…no pumping, easy clean up…but I have to agree with Madeline…this spa vac is very time consuming and frustrating to use. When the chamber fills up in about 5-10 seconds, the suction stops. You have to lift out the Vac every time this happens and let the water drain out.
