Great Robot for above ground (be prepared to buy the fine filter separately) I bought this for my 33′ round above ground. It works great (with the fine filter – purchased separately).So much better than the Aquabot I bought(and returned) before buying this. The cord doesn’t impede the robot like the Aquabot one did. It just works. I do have to run it more than once for it to touch the whole pool, but that is not a huge issue. It picks up leaves and bits, sand, hair, etc.Filter removal is easy. Exactly what we were looking for! We have a smaller 18′ above ground pool and have been using the standard vac that uses suction from the pool pump. Well this winter our new pup decided to try walking on the cover and it broke, dumping him and all the mud he was covered in, as well as all the leaves that were on top of the cover into the pool. Worth the money I bought this when my pool was full of leaves and 50 degrees. I needed to close it, but wasnât about to get in it. I read many reviews and had a friend tell me it was worth it, and it certainly was. It took awhile to clean my pool, but it sure did.
