good blower, good mulcher I use this as a vac mulcher primarily. It has decent suction, and you will have to de-clog it from time to time if you have a ton of leaves like I do. (29 Oak trees on 2 acres of property. all over 140 feet tall) It is never convenient to drag a cord around, but the gas mulchers are pretty expensive.That said, this thing shreds leaves and small sticks into powder. Its heavy! I only use it as a vacuum and mulch, sucking up leaves. I don’t use the bag that came with it because I also bought the trash can attachment, blowing the leaves directly into the can. I gave this only 3 stars because I have cursed it a few times while using it. The vacuum tube dose not stay on very well, and when it falls off, your pile of leaves are blown all over the place. Worse than original model Owned original and was basically satisfied, but vac bag wore through. Purchased this newer model which claimed to address bag problem. The new unit clogs constantly. The impeller is smaller than the original, and the shape of the housing is such that there is a 2 inch gap between the impeller and the housing.
