Terrific Unit – Battery Replacement Info Needed This is a pretty nice unit. I’ve had mine for a few years and it still works well. You have to be careful when it jams,(and it will, with thick stems) because there’s a little ball bearing in the mechanism that will escape if you try and take it apart “in the field.” My only complaint is the non-replaceable Li-Ion battery. It is great for trimming around plants and shrubs as well as for edging along the sides of raised garden beds. The unit holds a charge for an extended period of time and recharges quickly. My only disappointment is that the manufacturer no longer offers the extension handle as a part of the purchase of the unit.
