Snapper has hit it out of the park! I am very impressed. I have 1/5 acre .This mower cut my overgrown hilly thick yard with no problems. I had both batteries in . It used all of one battery and 20% of the second. The “personal pace” like self propell is very nice. Transitioning from forward to pulling backward takes getting used to. If you pull back too abruptly it doesnt want to disengage the drive gear. Once you figure this out it is very pleasant to use. I also like that I can self propell the motor with the blade disengaged…

Snapper has addressed my issues after my requests. Self Propulsion “Step Sense” did not work on first mowing. Went through 3 Snapper dealers before anyone was even willing to look at it for warranty service. One dealer kept it for a week and then told me to come get it and they were cancelling their dealership. There is no way to expedite a consumer repair though their Distributor/dealer network who are all gas mower centric. Snapper needs to educate their network on new products or stick with retail distribution and just replace defective…

I wish I had waited for more than one review. This was my first experience with self propelled mowers. I expected more ‘self propelled’ than I got but it wasn’t totally terrible. Charging the batteries was a pain in the neck right out of the box. They must have known that, given their instructions in the manual. You have to constantly check to make sure the red light isn’t blinking because the green turned to red many times after I walked away thinking i was good to go.
