As a Makita fan…not impressed First up, I’m a big Makita fan. I have just about every Makita cordless tool they make except for some of the really niche products (i.e. the concrete agitator). I generally love the professional quality, durability and design they put into their tools. I have about 22 different cordless Makita tools running on their 18v lineup. It has lots of power and doesn’t bog down unless you forget to empty the grass catcher. It does an excellent job cutting even very tall grass and large weeds. Makita says it will run up to 30 minutes on 2 5ah batteries. I have found it will run quite a bit longer than that, closer to an hour. The only assembly was to put the folding handle together and attach it…
