It’s a big heavy tool… I’ve had a lot of chain saws all gas or corded… this is probably the biggest and heaviest. The battery weighs nearly half as much as my little gas Stihl. If I had picked one up in a store I might not have bought it. But it really cuts and it will be very useful. In spite of its amazingly aggressive chain I think it should be much safer than a gas saw. Perfect for cutting cutting smaller trees and brush. After the saw arrived I assembled the unit. A video from Oregon helped with the assembly. After it’s done once – it’s a simple process.
