Missing Several Important Features Found on 20 Volt B+D Model If all you want is a simple plastic string based trimmer with an on/off switch, then this is an adequate horizontal grass cutter with a reasonably strong battery for a power source. I do not consider it to be an edger with that flip back wire gadget. Furthermore, this is neither the highest power nor the best value lithium battery based trimmer Black & Decker makes. Great new product. Great new product. I had been using the grasshog 18V for many years. Problem is that the battery had to be replaced every 4 months or so and I was always buying a new grasshog since they came with two batteries. So I have a few. Last week I went to use it and could not find a single living battery.
