PROBABLY the best NEW tool variation I’ve ever stumbled across!! So, I’ve Seen a wide variety of MIXED reviews on this. Let ME get this off my chest: ANYONE who bought this and is HANDLING it like a “regular hedge-trimmer” and COMPLAINING about the poor BALANCE, tell me WHAT DID YOU EXPECT??? You’ve got a 24″ STEEL rail, 48 STEEL teeth oscillating above that AND an electric motor, all at the tip of a 6 foot shaft!!! If you are holding THE HANDLE with 1 hand & the shaft with your OTHER hand: YOU ARE SIMPLY HOLDING THIS TOOL WRONG…
Great kit. Make it better with a mod. The trigger handle part is the exact same as the pole chainsaw kit. Wish we could just buy the hedge trimmer head alone. Now I’ve got two trigger handles.The reach is nice, but I wanted more. The pole chainsaw kit LPP120B comes with an extra ~4′ extension. The extension piece in my pictures is from the other kit, not from the hedge trimmer kit. The female end of the extension fits into the handle fine, as you’d expect. This B&D unit is built stronger and works better. As others have noted I originally purchased the Green Works version of this hedge clipper. It lasted for about 9 minutes and was returned to Amazon. I was hesitant about ordering a similar product but decided to take a chance. This B&D unit is built stronger and works better. As others have noted, it is heavy. But it cuts well and stood up to my trying to cut a wire fence a couple of times, with no damage. I am able to get through 6 or 8 small bushes and two 6ft bushes without the battery getting depleted…
