Just put the washer ON, then the BLADE, then the washer, and TIGHTEN.I know that the blade would have a tendency to SLIP, but only if it encounters INCREDIBLE RESISTANCE – in which case you would WANT it to slip. Picture is Worth a Thousand Words I own a Black & Decker LE750 Edgehog. Mine is Green with a black handle. The blade shown in the picture is not the same one I received. The part number is the same (EB007) but the center hole cutout is not the same as depicted. I received a center round hole cut whereas the picture shows a polygonal type hole. Works great if instructions are followed! I bought this replacement blade for an older LE750 that had oval type hole in the center. Was concerned that it would not work properly after reading some reviews. I threw the old blade and washers away and used new blade and washers as instructed. I torqued the nut to 140 in lbs as instructed. After using for 45 minutes and hitting many rocks and shooting sparks from hitting sidewalk, no slippage occured. I rechecked the torque to see if it had loosened and it was still 140 in lbs. I suspect…
