Overall a nice product that works well Overall I am pleased with this unit. It’s easy to use and I like the full grip trigger rather than the single index finger trigger which can be more fatiguing.My only minor complaint is that, although it can handle some fairly thick branches, it will stall pretty easily if you try to do too much at once. So you have to finesse your way through the thicker stuff.I don’t have lots of hedges. Just a few bushes. So battery life is fine for me. I can get through the whole job…
It’s All About the Battery Size. Choose This One Or the 60 Volt Version. Which version of cordless hedge trimmer you get depends upon which battery standard you decide to choose. Great Cordless Tool for Residential Use Works as expected, I use it as a broad stoke tool to remove larger amounts of trimmings. I prefer to use hedging shears for more precise control. But, the B&D Cordless Hedger (40V) has plenty of power, light-weight and cuts well for my purposes. I don’t have many hedges, at least to the point of worrying about battery life.
