This is NOT a direct replacement for a 754-0101A belt I have a Yard Machines slow blower from 2003 with an MTD engine. Although the original belt had not yet broke, it was looking pretty worn so I thought Id save some money and order this replacement belt. Okay if you have 2-3″ of Snow…CAUTION if you have to clear > 6″ of the white stuff! After reading a number of reviews, and having owned three (3) MTD Single-Stage Snow Throwers over the past 25 years, I believed this belt to be a reasonable replacement for MTD’s high-priced belt; I was WRONG!!This belt is a generic 0.5″X35″ V-belt, which one can easily buy an equivalent at any Auto Parts and/or hardware stores.
