Seemed to solve my problem – for a while Worked for my Craftsman YTS3000 46″ tractor. Fit was perfect. Installation was not difficult after dropping the mower deck. (Youtube is your friend for this job.) Although the original belt did not appear to be stretched, apparently it was worn enough the it didn’t wedge into the drive pulleys well enough for good friction. Started noticing a little hesitation going up inclines, and within 3 more hours of mowing, tractor would barely move at all. I feared transmission failure, but this…
Good-looking belt, wrong length for my tractor (not belt manufacturer’s fault) Belt arrived quickly, and looks like a solid, well-built belt. It actually does measure 1/2″ by about 92″ so the product description is accurate.Unfortunately, it’s just too long for my tractor, despite extensive research that all pointed to a 92″ belt for my Craftsman 917.288522, including the Sears site, this is not the correct belt for my tractor.
